About Us

Quattro Strings string quartet formed in 2005 whilst its members were completing their studies in music at the University of Queensland and the Queensland Conservatorium of Music. Members of Quattro Strings are skilled performers with varying qualifications including degrees in Bachelor of Music Performance, Honours in Music, Masters in Music Performance, Associate Music of Australia Diplomas, and performance experience in a number of orchestras including the Queensland Youth Symphony, the Queensland Youth Chamber Orchestra, the University of Queensland Symphony and Strings Orchestras, the Queensland Conservatorium Orchestras, Mueller International Chamber Orchestra, Corda Consort, national and international tours, and various other ensembles.

Quattro Strings have years of experience, and have played at numerous weddings, receptions, corporate events and other functions, as well as many locations including churches, parks, gardens, golf courses and wineries, amongst others. With so many excellent musicians now being members of Quattro Strings, we will always be able to cater for your needs, even in particularly busy seasons.
